Love Our Schools, in partnership with the Lafayette Parish School System (LPSS) and powered by Techneaux, is inviting the community to nominate outstanding teachers and school support staff for the 2026 Education All-Stars recognition program.
Education All-Stars shines a spotlight on the educators and school support staff who show up for students each day, making a difference in classrooms, on campuses, and throughout the Lafayette Parish Public School System. Following more than 2,500 nominations received last year, Love Our Schools is looking forward to hearing from even more students, parents, colleagues, and community members this year.
Nominations will be accepted October 5 through October 30, 2026. Anyone who has experienced the impact of an LPSS educator or support staff member is encouraged to nominate someone who deserves to be recognized.
Nominees will be considered for one of the following awards:
- Hall of Fame Awards – Celebrating outstanding teachers at the elementary, middle, and high school levels who demonstrate excellence in teaching and leadership.
- Breakout All-Star Award – Honoring a new teacher with 1–3 years of service who brings passion, creativity, and fresh energy to the classroom.
- All-Heart Award – Recognizing a support staff member whose dedication and behind-the-scenes impact make a meaningful difference in the school community.
All nominees must be current employees of the Lafayette Parish Public School System.

The Education All-Stars program gives the community an opportunity to recognize the people who make a difference in the lives of students every day. Whether it is a teacher who goes the extra mile, a new educator bringing fresh energy to the classroom, or a support staff member whose work often happens behind the scenes, Love Our Schools encourages the community to say something when they see something special.
“Education All-Stars gives our community an opportunity to shine a light on the incredible teachers and support staff who show up for students every day,” said Millicent Nugent, Executive Director of Love Our Schools. “Last year, we received more than 2,500 nominations, and we are hopeful to see that number grow. We are grateful to partner with the Lafayette Parish School System and to have Techneaux powering this program as we celebrate the people who make a difference across our schools.”
